FAQs

Do You Take Insurance?

Providing you with excellent patient care is our full time priority. As a result, our practice is not contracted with insurance companies at this time. However, if you would like to seek reimbursement directly from your insurance provider, our dietitians can provide you with a Superbill (receipt with insurance codes). You can submit for reimbursement and acceptance is dependent on your specific plan. If you are unsure of the specifics of your plan, please contact your insurance provider to see if our services (CPT codes: 97802, 97803, 97804) would be reimbursed.

We do accept HSA or FSA cards as payment.

What Is a Registered Dietitian?

A Registered Dietitian is a food and nutrition expert that is required to have a Master’s degree with coursework focused on food and nutrition sciences, medical nutrition therapy, biochemistry, organic chemistry, physiology, psychology and microbiology. All Registered Dietitians complete 1200 hours of supervised practice in various fields, as well as pass a National Boards Exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Registered Dietitians must complete continuing education to maintain their license.
